Calling all TeamConfessioners! Have you ever thought of sharing your own story or insight with our supportive community? Well, now’s your chance! I’m excited to invite you to contribute as a guest writer for our upcoming 9th Season of Confessions of a Recovering Micromanaging Perfectionist Martyr.
Please note that submissions are only open to TeamConfession subscribers. If your post is chosen, I’ll read it on the podcast, and our fellow teammates will have an opportunity to hear fresh thoughts and ideas from our talented roster.
And hey, if you’re feeling like you’d love to submit something, but you’re not quite ready to do so—please be sure to re-listen to these posts, Ambition & Ready or Not before you make any final decisions.
Here’s everything you need to know to get involved:
- Topic: I’m interested in pieces that resonate with Confessions’ themes of self-discovery, serenity, and the humor of everyday life. Whether you want to share a personal anecdote, a fresh insight, or an entertaining take on life’s challenges, write it up, and send it on over!
- Length: Please use between 250-500 words as a guideline, but if your submission is a little less or a little more, send it anyway!
- Due Date: The submission deadline is August 9th, 2024. Receiving contributions by that date will give me time to review each one and prepare for the upcoming season.
- Where to Send: Please email your submissions to [email protected]
- Editorial Rights: Please note that I’ll make sure your core message shines through; however, I reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, and consistency with our community vibe.
Additional Guidelines:
- Ensure your submission is original and hasn’t been published elsewhere.
- If I don’t know you, please include a brief bio (50-100 words) about yourself so I can learn more about you. If I do know you, I’d love to know more about you, but not having a bio isn’t a reason not to submit 😉
- Please let me know how to credit you—whether by your full name, a pseudonym, or, if you prefer, “anonymous.”
I can’t wait to see what you creative people bring to the table. Each of your voices is unique and valuable, and it’s high time you are heard by more than just your spouse and your kids—because we know they’re not listening anyway! You CAN do this!
