When I’m interested in changing anything in my life, I get into this hyper-driven state of research. And now that there are so many resources, I can article-blog-book-movie-social media group-podcast myself into quite a tizzy.
This week, I could feel myself losing perspective as I got immersed deeper into other people’s success stories. It occurred to me that I was trying to fast forward my journey to be where other people are, knowing full well they’re years deeper into the process than I am.
The only way to it,
Is through it.
I can gather information from others, but the best judge for what’s best for me, and my life, and my circumstances, is me. And, I feel so blessed to finally understand that the slower that process is, the more likely it is to stick. No matter how much wisdom I gain from others, time has always been my most dependable and valuable teacher. If I just remember to stay where my feet are, I can put my complete trust in time to take care of the rest. It’s never let me down.
Welcome to my blog turned podcast! Here you can listen or read about what’s on my mind as I try my best to recover from screaming at my kids and nagging the bejesus out my husband.
