Welcome to our Summer Rewind series, Team. This week we’re going to listen to a short Confession from April 16th of 202. It’s about the power of the word “selfish.” This lesson was so important to me when I was first recovering from my micromanaging, perfection and martyrdom. I felt like I always needed to be around my kids and family to keep everything flowing just right in the house. But, once I was taught that caring for my own needs wasn’t selfish, and actually had the potential to heal my seething resentment, I was all in!
Before we listen to that episode, a reminder that:
I’m inviting TeamConfessioners to contribute as guest writers for our upcoming Season. I’m looking for multiple contributors, so submit away!
Please note that this opportunity is only open to TeamConfession subscribers. Just click TeamC Summer Submission Campaign to learn how to get involved. (There’s a link to that page in the show notes if you’re not already on my website.) And please keep tuning in over the summer—I’m going to be sharing some writing tips for any beginner authors who are planning to submit something.
Now, it’s time to listen to this week’s summer reminder…ENJOY!
Welcome to my blog turned podcast! Here you can listen or read about what’s on my mind as I try my best to recover from screaming at my kids and nagging the bejesus out my husband.
